Indji Watch

Indji Watch represents a paradigm shift in the way electrical utilities deal with natural phenomenon.

By automated effective delivery of situational intelligence Indji Watch enables organizations to shift from being largely reactive to proactively managing the impact of natural hazards on network stability.

Indji Watch connects to natural phenomenon sensor networks, continually analyzes real-time data and assesses the threat to electrical network assets and automatically disseminates alerts to stakeholders.

The system provides users a “live” real-time map view of hazards and the threat they represent to network infrastructure and people.

Indji Watch is always Watching for You. In order to achieve this simple goal the system undertakes some challenging sequence of tasks:

  • The system continually harvests raw data from many government and private sources which it uses to maintain changing models of real world Hazards such as fires and storms.
  • Every time a real world hazard model changes Indji Watch performs a real-time assessment to determine if it threatens any assets. If an asset is threatened the asset and hazard are modeled in the system as a Threat.
  • Indji Watch automatically sends early warning notifications of any Threats to Asset stakeholders. Warnings can be delivered via email, SMS, instant messaging or as digital instructions to other systems. In addition, as a threat continues or evolves Indji Watch can send intelligent update notifications.
  • All Threats are logged for audit and regulatory compliance purposes and users can use the online reporting service to set-up recurrent or ad-hoc reports.

Indji Watch provides the early warning information required to effectively manage risk for energy utilities, bringing all the data together in one user-friendly online service.
